Fourteen Native American Tribal Governments have resource protection responsibilities and legal jurisdiction within the Columbia Basin.  The four Treaty Tribes ― Umatilla, Warm Springs, Yakama and Nez Perce ― have fishing rights in Fishery Zone 6 of the lower Columbia River.
